This DreamBuilder™ series is funded by the City of Tucson, with training materials developed by Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School and financed by Freeport-McMoRan. DreamBuilder is a dynamic and accessible business training program tailored to support women in starting or expanding their own businesses. Through a series of online courses, participants gain foundational knowledge on building a successful business while simultaneously creating a comprehensive business plan. As one past participant shared, "The DreamBuilder series gave me the knowledge and the drive to move forward with starting my own business! The resources shared have been invaluable to me!" We are currently accepting registration from new participants. Registration will close on March 7th, 2025. The Spring 2025 DreamBuilder™ cohort includes six hybrid workshops (virtual or in-person), led by an experienced bi-lingual (Spanish/English) facilitator and subject matter expert under the guidance of the Pima Community College Small Business Development Center team. Program Kick-Off The series kicks off with a virtual session on Wednesday, March 12, from 4:30–5:30 PM (AZ time). This session will introduce participants to the program and provide guidance on completing the first few online courses. While the program is designed with women in mind, men are also welcome to participate. Hybrid Workshops Workshops will take place on Wednesday evenings from 4:30–6:30 PM, beginning March 12 and continuing on March 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16, and 23. Office hours will be held one hour prior to session start times (3:30–4:30 PM), beginning on March 26. Participants have the option to attend online, or in-person at Pima Community College’s Downtown Campus, which offers convenient free parking. Participants who complete the program will be recognized during a graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 7. Cost and Benefits The program is offered at no cost, with course materials and light refreshments provided. We’re excited to support you on your journey to launching or growing your small business. Join us for this valuable opportunity, and let’s build your future together!
