Speaker(s): Alex Potter is the manager of the Pima Community College Small Business Development Center (SBDC), where she leads a dedicated team and serves as a counselor, helping clients navigate the challenges of starting and growing their businesses. With a strong foundation in accounting and finance, Alex has worked with both small and large businesses. Alex holds both undergraduate and master’s degrees in accounting from the Eller College of Management. Before transitioning into finance, Alex assisted in the start-up of a sustainably focused landscaping company, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to environmental responsibility. This experience laid the groundwork for her expertise in business operations, marketing, and process efficiency. Passionate about empowering others, Alex combines practical experience with innovative problem-solving to help businesses thrive in a competitive landscape.
