We will be covering Courses 10 & 11!

What You’ll Gain in this Session

  • You will learn about bookkeeping and a number of different accounting terms and processes
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable and the use of a Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Projections
  • You will learn how these statements and reports can help you track the financial health of your business
  • You will think about how much money you really need to start or grow your business
  • You’ll be introduced to different sources of funding, and learn how your business plan can help you get funding

For both the start-up entrepreneur and the owner that’s already in business. As a business owner, it is up to you to track your income and expenses. Even if you outsource bookkeeping to a 3rd party, you MUST understand some of the basics. And if traditional funding isn’t what you are seeking, learn what other options are available


Facilitator Bio: CJ Johnson, Program Supervisor and Facilitator CJ has been with the Maricopa SBDC for 7 years and previously worked over 20 years as a Commercial Lender, wherein she helped small businesses, by providing them with SBA and traditional loans and lines of credit. As your facilitator CJ will also bring in other subject matter experts each week who will expand on what you are learning.
