We will be covering Courses 8 & 9! Getting financing to help with your start-up costs or your expansion costs.

What You’ll Gain in this Session

  • You will learn how to manage the different areas of your business in order to keep on top of things and make a profit
  • Hiring, training, and managing employees
  • You will explore how to manage family members and good and bad employees
  • You will also consider how to manage your time, money, and information

For both the start-up entrepreneur and the owner who’s already in business. It is critical to know how your financials tell a story and will guide you in many business decisions. Whether it is adding to staff, buying equipment, or opening a new location, learning these basics will help you have a strong business when applied.


Facilitator Bio: CJ Johnson, Program Supervisor and Facilitator CJ has been with the Maricopa SBDC for 7 years and previously worked over 20 years as a Commercial Lender, wherein she helped small businesses, by providing them with SBA and traditional loans and lines of credit. As your facilitator CJ will also bring in other subject matter experts each week who will expand on what you are learning.
